Peabody Launch of New Artwork by Turner Prize Winner, Jasleen Kaur

News

Greg Brown, Senior Associate at Faithorn Farrell Timms, recently attended Peabody’s launch of Was. Is. Will Be. a new art project in Thamesmead by Jasleen Kaur, winner of the 2024 Turner Prize.

The installation features a community poem etched into the ground across the main square and a weathervane by the lake edge, paying tribute to some key moments and places in Thamesmead’s rich history. The piece forms part of Peabody’s long-term cultural strategy for the town.

FFT was proud to have provided contract support for this project.

Congratulations to everyone involved!
