Services provided
The project
BMSDC commissioned FFT to deliver a structured training programme to strengthen contract management capability across its teams, including a CDM introduction for relevant staff.
Our role
We designed and delivered two full-day contract management training sessions and a tailored CDM module. The programme combined theory with practical exercises covering risk, KPIs, mobilisation, and contract administration scenarios.
The challenges
The client required a consistent approach to contract management across teams, with varying experience levels and a need to translate procurement requirements into effective delivery.
Added value
We used real-life scenarios and template-based exercises to ensure immediate application, helping teams confidently manage performance, risk, and supplier relationships.
The outcome
Staff are better equipped to manage contracts proactively, apply contractual mechanisms correctly, and drive improved performance and consistency across services.
